Does it differ based on challenge I.E. Light Side battles vs GW? Or is it all the same based on tier completed?

That's what I thought but hearing claims it differs day to day.

I'm pretty sure it goes by points and tier on some kind of scale. So for GW days where most possible is theoretically 36, tier VII reward would have to scale differently (more coins per tier) than LS or DS missions where theoretical max is in the thousands.

From what I have seen it differs day to day or activity to activity.
The easy ones, GW, Arena, Challenges, seem lower than ones that use energy.
