Strategy for table battles

What is the strategy to play LS and DS table battles for players who have not yet unlocked GW.
I mean after which battle number in LS and DS it is not worth moving forward and just wait to unlock GW?

Mission table for gear farming. You need to unlock normal ls 5 to farm max gear. Some char might require ds 5. I use lumi, sid, daka, boba, dooku. No need ds 5.

Make sure your 8 main toons gear v before you unlock gw. Gear vi by 50 for your top 5.
