Drop rates

Has anyone tested wether or not there is a higher drop rate on shards on cantina/hard mode fights that cost more energy to fight in? For example old ben has 2 cantina fights, one that costs 8energy and one that costs 12 energy

8 energy = more attempts, but less cantina credits earned
12 energy = less attempts, but more cantina credits earned
choose what's more important to you.

I've been tracking it for months, and they are about even. I've found about 33% for all Cantina regardless of the cost. I personally go for the higher cost ones because the rate of return on Cantina credits is higher, as is the credits per energy spent, but that's just me.
