Two weeks ago in my phone, which is never far from me...

Turmoil has engulfed the forum. The drop rates of shards is in dispute. Hoping to resolve the matter with a preponderance of statistical evidence, benr3600 kenobi has started compiling the data of all his bronzium and farm node drops.
Bronzium: 5 gear; 2 credits; 2 training droids; 9 total
8 gear; 1 shard; 9 total
7 gear; 2 training droids; 1 credit; 1 shard; 11 total
6 gear; 2 shards; 1 credit; 9 total
5 gear; 1 trainind droid; 2 heroes (2* jedi knight guardian, 3* general veers); 8 total

So of 64 bronzium pulls, 47 (73%) were gear, 4 (6%) were credits, 5 (8%) were training droids, 6 (9%) were shards and 2 (3%) were heroes.

I've been tracking my Lobot hard node farming and I'm running a little under 15%.
I find the cantina drops for JC are around the 30% that you have but I find the Kylo cantina node a lot more generous. Some days I'm 6 for 10 but 40% is more typical.

Revenge of the First Order TIE Pilot
EA/CG have released a secret weapon, a level 70 cap and new hard missions to farm new (but mostly duplicate) shards. The F2P resistance has an uphill battle before them until they can get those coveted Dooku cantina shards, but with patience and perseverance they can overcome this hurdle.
