I Was Suckered into Buying a Chromium Yesterday

Now I know they're supposed to be random and it was just me letting my guard down, but after that wonderful popup that said "Echo is in chromiums...go to the store now!", I went ahead and bought a 4-pack, hoping Echo would pop out, but he didn't, which is kind of krappy considering the enthusiastic popup thrown in my face. Needless to say, I will continue to steer clear of these packs because of this.

If you know they're supposed to be random then it's hardly fair to say you were suckered by anything other than your own subconscious impulses.

I already gave you the disclaimer in the OP above. I'm just saying, it left a bad taste in my mouth is all.

"Suckered" doesnt mean he thinks the company tricked him.
It means he should have known better, and he did it anyways.

Yes, but not the shady evil kind.
The commonplace kind that we are nearly immune to.
    Like pop-ups.

    I believe that's what he meant. I would've used a different subject.

On the plus side, it's nice to discuss language without first examining 5s' description.

5 is a number, dude, thats Math, not English.
Also, numbers do not have a possessive, and the plural of 5 is Fives.
Where are you seeing a description of the number 5? Sesame Street?

Does it actually offend you when people abbreviate him as 5s or are you just trying to troll me?

Yeah, sorry, just a joke... easy with the troll talk... figured you could take it, and it seems like you almost got it.

You are lucky you didn't get Echo.

What were you going to do with a 3 star toon with hard to grind gear, low health, Barisse damage, and broken AI, anyway?

What was this thread about? Oh yeah, Chromiums. I bought an 8 pack yesterday and got Echo. But I doubt I'll be buying more, so he's sitting in my roster at 3*, practically useless.

For people who are anything like me in this regard, you can read fistfuls of threads all agreeing that chromiums aren't worthwhile unless you buy a LOT of them, but until you try it yourself you just don't know.

I feel like I lucked out with my 4* Maul. At least he's fun in early GW nodes.
