GS Swarm Question

The swarm description is a little vague for GS's Swarm ability regarding damage. Does the bonus percentage gained when upgrading apply to the attack for GS himself and then also applies to the assister if the assister is Geonosian? Or does it only apply to GS himself if the assister is Geonosian?

If a Geonosian is the assister then both characters get a bonus.

Ive found that it applies a 50% damage bonus to both characters. There is a caveat though wherein if offense up is already applied, it doesn't seem to stack with that. Not sure if this is a defect or not. Its a first turn bonus in most cases since GS usually has offense up most of the match. Especially with poggle.

I haven't seen much of a difference with swarm when say using SPY with him they seem to hit around the same
