A common complaint here on the forums is the dodge mechanic, as evidenced by the continued existence of the dodge mega thread above.

The problem with dodge is there's no real counter to it. Sure a couple characters have unavoidable damage, but that's more of a novelty than an effective tactic. The other abilities do have a direct counter. Debuffs and turn meter reduction can be resisted. Buffs can be dispelled, and so on.

My idea is an accuracy stat for each character. The higher your accuracy, the less your attacks are dodged. Some characters would naturally be more accurate than others. This way if you really hate dodge, you have a way to specifically beat that tactic.

This would also be way to change the dodge meta without straight up nerfing dodge chance.
