Best solution for useless gear/sim tickets?

I have close to 1000 of a bunch of different types useless gear and sim tickets.

Trade up. Credit crunch may be real, but it can still get you where you need to go.

I am honestly okay with any options. Even if the trade is costly, it's better than just storing up garbage.

Wishful thinking. Not gonna happen.
Would make the game better, players could be less frustrated and progress, but may spare some dollars.
Any improvement in the game that may players spend less money, even a little, is not going to be implemented.

Trade Up?! You guys have lost your minds... CG is not going to make gear easier to acquire with a resource that most players have stockpiles of in the thousands...

Make it the event resource / refresh currency. People wanna do the events, people will spend them. Have the costs compound so they become even more valuable in large quantities.

Have characters with throw ability, so in battle they can throw tier 1-5/6 gears at enemy. And or consume for health. Terrible idea, but visually entertaining.

Use them for hard mode resets in addition to crystals. Like for every 50 crystals require 500 sim tickets or something.
