Seeking advice, here's my roster

level 48 char here. I've got:

4* Sidious, 4*Chewy, 3* JC, 3* Fives, 3* Poe, 3* Talia, 3* Jawa, 3* Royal Guard, 2* Star Ashoka, 2* Resistance T., 2* 1st Order S-trooper, 1* Snowtrooper, 1* Luke Skywalker.

I've almost got Phasma unlocked and am closing in on Dooku.

What should I be working on now? Just got Sidious and he seems great. Should I use my arena awards on him, Han or who?

I'll ask it this way:

Who should I focus on for GW, Arena and LS/DS missions. Have heard Daka is vital to DS missions but not sure how useful she is elsewhere. Luminara is a no brainer and I'm also working on her.

I would go with Phasma (L), Sid, Poe, JC and Fives/Dooku. The reason why I suggested Phasma as leader over Sid is because I think that line-up would benefit more from additional attack opportunities than increased critical chance/damage.

Focus on getting Sid to 7* from Arena Shipments. No need for Han when Poe is a better tank. Farm him from Cantina Shipments. Once you gain access to Galactic War, farm Luminara and replace JC with her. She is arguably the best healer in the game and hits hard as well. But you still need to level up JC as you need him for GW. Luke also delivers some serious damage when levelled up.

Too many tanks.

Choose between fives & poe from cantina shipment. Get jc, talia, jawa to 4 & focus on luke from cantina battle.

Focus arena shipment on sid , gw shipment on lumi. Phasma should wait until you unlocked lumi. ( if you choose fives, get phasma)

Plan your ls/ds team.

Gw is most important table. Compulsory to complete. Top 500 arena enough to progress. Most ideal is top100.

The more healers you have, the easier it gets to complete GW as it is a war of attrition. So she is definitely useful. Daka is squishy and her heal isn't too great, but she is fast, stuns and can also revive fallen comrades.

I'm going to go against the grain and suggest going for Datcha and Jawa, then back it up with something like Poe, Lumi, and Luke or Phasma as lead. Could also do something Like Sid lead, Jawa, Datcha, IG88, and Poe for arena battles.

thanks guys!! Should I stop putting resources into Chewy then? I got him to 4* recently and have been neglecting Poe only since 2 turns of taunt usually puts his HP super low. I was running both Poe and Chewy but I realize that's probably bad. My Poe is in Gear 4, Chewy in Gear 5.

Is Fives considered a tank then? Why, if he doesn't taunt?

Chewie is fairly bad at higher levels. Poe seems to be more useful overall, depending on team

1. When it comes to hero stats, gears matter more than star or hero level. Level up Poe's gears and he should do fine while you farm his shards
2. Chewie is seemingly better at the current time being with his high health and self-heal ability, but he doesn't scale well later as you advance. Other than his health and occasionally being able to reduce turn meter, he doesn't offer much - a slow, lumbering meat shield that only taunts for 1 turn. On the other hand, Poe is very fast, taunts for 2 turns, can self-heal whenever he resists detrimental effects (and he does it quite well with his high tenacity) and expose the opponent's team. He will probably die, but can last longer with healer support and would have shielded the rest of your team from damage. Use Chewie for LS battles since you want to avoid casualty to get 3 stars while use Poe in Arena. But Chewie will eventually phase out as you gain access to more useful heroes
3. Fives is a tank because that's what his descriptions say
4. Not all tanks have taunt

Hey thanks again for the good advice. Should I farm Poe or Fives first from Cantina? Both are 3*. I'll stop investing in Chewy also.

Fives works better with Phasma as the leader and a counter/assist team. Poe is more for a team where you have a lot of glass cannons such as IG-88.

ok I'm digging the counter/assist mechanics - I'll go for Fives then, almost unlocked Phasma and close to Dooku. Do I use Dooku and Fives in the same group? Which characters synergize together most with the counter mechanic?

My personal team that I'm going for in GW is Sid(leader), Captain Phasma, Lumi, Poe, and either Dooku or JC and I think this would also be a decent team in arena as well but to each his own and this is my current goal based of the current meta

Both Fives and Dooku are retaliation specialists. So if you want to maximise damage and assist opportunities, go with both and take out Poe. The downside is Dooku is quite squishy and very difficult to farm.

But try different combinations and see which one suits you the most as there is no single right answer. All I am providing is my perspective based on what I have heard, seen and experienced.

I'm working on Fives and Phasma - about to unlock Dooku. Are Fives/Phasma still useful in a group if Dooku isn't there?

Fives counter attack, in addition with Dooku's 100% counter attack would be quite annoying. I also suggest getting and or starring up Luke as he for me gets a lot of critical hits and has a tendency to one hit or get people into red for me. I'm currently farming Dooku as well so you will have to tell me how that goes

Also, to answer your most recent question lets think of Phasma and Fives as a slice of pie, it's good on it's own however lets add some whipped cream (Dooku) it makes it better but isn't necessary. At the moment I am currently farming what your farming and or have, Fives, Sidious,Dooku. If you get this build before me please tell me how it works
