Not sure if I can mention other games here. Sorry if not! But, I had an idea for faction bonuses that I thought be kinda cool.
In a PC game I use to play, you would collect gear for a character. Some gear would belong to a set. You would get bonuses for the gear starting at 3 pieces, and I think full bonus at 6 pieces.
So, I thought, why not do that for the factions here? The more of a particular faction that you have in your group, the bigger bonus you could earn.
Jedi, for example, might look something like:
3: 5% heal at start of turn for all jedi allies
4: Increase tenacity of all allies by 50%
5: Double effect of all jedi-specific abilities
It doesn't have to be those specifically. They should be a bit more thought-out and align with each faction's specialties. But, the overall concept could remain the same. What do you all think? Would it be a good way to make full-faction squads relevant?
