Look at Empire and Ewoks event to be end game events ...
Just for everyone complaining about these events. Sit back and look at it again ...
Its designed for Level 75+ with gear 8+, you get 1 mio the first time, you get whole 10 Vader shards for beating it ... well ... this not an one-time-event, you just beat and move on. Its an Event designed for end-game.
My guess is, with all achievement, you will get Vader up to 6 *. Then there will be 10 of those heavy-faction-based "events" which give out 10 Vader shards each (=10x10 = Vader to 7*) ... so the target is, to get be able to beat every single faction in this game, by using its typically opponent and you get the permission to promote Vader, the most iconic char of the Star Wars-Universe, to 7 stars.
Of course, so called whales, and lucky players who focus on these factions before event will get it now, but im pretty sure, there are around 8 more events of this kind coming, each of another pairing ...
So, calm down, continue your regular game play and now, there is something to focus at in the future.
