Characters never come back to life after Galactic War

The FAQ says they'll be available the next day if they die in a galactic war.

Mine are never available again. It's been over a week and the dead ones are still dead when I start a galactic war. I pretty much have to sacrifice a new character just to get the daily experience points.

Scoregasms

Hit the Restart button on bottom left. You do need to hit that each day to start over. Otherwise, characters remain dead until the end of that current campaign. Restart brings you back to fight 1 and a fresh roster.
