The reason for FOTP's bugged 3rd attack

Based on my testing, I think the 3rd attack occurs if you trigger a 2nd attack without advantage and the 2nd attack takes the enemy down to below 50%, GRANTING FOTP advantage and somehow its coded to check again and thus triggers an additional attack. Can anyone confirm these results?

Yep, it should not happen that way but your right, it checks again and procs 2nd ataack

It can occur even if he already has advantage, provided it still refreshes after a 2nd attack. Also seems like his crit damage multiplier gets compounded somewhere in the math (either granting it to him multiple times instead of a single flat-rate or compounds multiplicatively with leader buffs for crit damage) - as I've started seeing some insane damage values compared to non-crits on the same target and conditions (buffs, debuffs, etc.).
