Anyone else noticed references to ships on some toons?

I may be late to the party but I just noticed Biggs has a note that he has ship synergies. I've only just started collecting pilots but it's the first time I've seen any reference made to the starship battles update.

Not gonna lie... I'd rather have had that than mods.
