Many have all these shiny geared Star Wars figures sitting on a digital shelf unable to use if they are not on their masters pvp teams. How great it would be to just have a common battle that costs no energy, doesn't have to give rewards and if it did maybe team ribbons or flags that fly on the field of battle as they fight.

There simply has to be something you can do any time to enjoy these icons of Star Wars.

So sort of like a practice mode? That would be kind of cool.

Until then, you can always just do the same thing except in GW, if you end up losing anyone and as long as you don't tap after "defeat" comes up, force close and re-open.
