changing my squad

The last time I battled PVP, I changed my rotation. I replaced Jedi Counselor with Royal Guard. Got my way up to 188. I check so often to see the fall. But JC is still in and RG isn't. Just wondering how to keep what I think is my best team on the field. Thx for any help.
