So I was looking at the datamined stats on Cantina (which I know are not "set in stone" but stat growth and visible items aren't that far off the mark).
And overall increases are hilariously skewed.
There are quite a few characters who are going to see 50% increases to base damage, and 20% increases to HPs. The only large HP increases (40-50%) come on STR based characters, which is going to be heavily influenced by *s, some of which are not easily farmable.
In a game already heavily skewed towards damage, this is going to make for some amusing 40 second blowouts.
I'm looking forward to it.
