Android Audio Focus

Following the update today the app now takes Audio Focus from the OS when switched to. Previously it was only when the app was opened. This occurs even with sound and music configured off. The upshot of this is I cant listen to podcasts whilst playing. Other games don't do this and allow me to enjoy both podcast and game Fx together. This bug may drive me from the game.

Alternatively, could the app only take audio focus if it's got sound/music switched on? It really shouldn't stop a podcast/music/audiobook and just replace it with silence.
