I've been putting a rebel/clone group together to defeat this since it first came out months ago. I'd like to get it off of my achievements list.

Many people do want this, nobody knows when it will come back. The devs never gave an official announcement besides "Every event will come back at some point".

It has to come back.. Guaranteed. A lack of ~20 vader shards for about 80% of playerbase is inacceptable.

Every event comes back eventually for the simple fact that they are already coded into the game.
