System took shards

I been playing along time and I know it always ask for 50 crystal shards on the 1st refresh not paying close attention there has been times were I thought it didn't refresh so I push the button again but today I only had like 51 shards and I hit a refresh so I can finish up light side battles and my shards were took with no ⚡ energy giving. So i know now this has happens alot like daily, what am I mising? And if indeed it's my mis understanding of how the refresh works why is it not clear why even mention the 50 shards in the first place. 2nd 2 days ago cantina battle 5-F Lando, I Simed that battle 23 tlimes for 2 shards I know you won't do anything about this robbery style drop rate I am just venting had I been a f2p player and not so invested I would have stop playin this game that day I was so upset I felt disrespected and took advantage of.
