Almost got an heart attack...

I'm a a IOS user...Just log to the game...I'm currently almost at level 80...love the game, when it startan hour ago, the game restart at level 1...WHAT the f***k!!!! I did shutdown the game and restart it and everything is back to normal...but how can I avoid to loose anything...any idea ???
