Does palp crit dmg mods make a difference?

Title says it all if i get crit dmg mods will it work on palp? Cuz i noticed his attack is blue instead of red ...

I know on Magmatrooper who also has blue attacks on his special and this can't crit will not get any befit there from critical damage mods.

Palpatines attacks can all crit, even his unique. Note they are based off special crit rating rather than than physical. His base crit chance is around 15% so you definitely want to get that higher if you are stacking CD.

So does it work or not? Since I'm also debating if I will use crit mods. Thing is, most of my secondary speed stats are on crit mods

Yes it works


As @Josh_K stated EP only uses special damage, which shows in blue when non crit this is different than most characters.
So ep crit chance will be based of off his special critical rating.

Which is still 15% base crit chance, so crit damage mods would be a waist if you can't boost the crit chance
