Can all thermal detonators be physical damage??

Why does a move that takes up to 3 turns on some toons which is way to long anyway, count as a tenacity based debuff and get resisted most of the time? So useless in almost all scenarios but a few. Can they fix it? Or is GReedo, Nute and so one going to have 1 move to choose from...

    It would also make them more viable if, due to the "long" wait time for damage, they bypassed Protection. EP's Let the Hate Flow does this, so I don't see why they could allow other abilities to bypass protection. Heck, might even make DoT abilities more effective if they did that too ...

    Yeah and I agree with the dot especially, unless you're setting up something. On their own dots are pretty useless their stacked and that adds up and if dire if protection is gone.

    All Thermal Detonators should be changed (across the board) to be Unresistable and Undispellable imo!

    Maybe not undispellable, but perhaps if a toon has more than 1 detonator a dispel will only remove the one that is closest to exploding.

    You could have dispel cause detonators to explode due to tampering. Then create a bomb specialist who can cleanse dets.

    If you have Zam (whom I love) it negates the wait period and does massive damage.

    Truth, love me some zam. I just wish she wouldn't get resisted so much in arena and late tier gw. I have her modded for speed and potency and she rarely lands more than 2 dets. Which is why I pair her with greedo to at least try and land more. I would love for them to be more consistent with sticking to people.

    They're a grenade. I can see dodging the grenade but resisting and dispelling make no sense. maybe instead of dispell Akbar or other collected all them on themselves to protect their Allies.

    and don't get me wrong when I get mine to stick especially from nute they do massive damage especially on rancor but I had to add so much potency on a attacker that doesn't need any. They should be debuffs and rely on tenacity in the game, either dodge or damage on or the other.
