Do you buy shards of hard-to-farm characters from shipments?

How often do you buy shards of characters who aren't farmable in cantina, and are only available in the 3-times a day hard battles?

I have when I am 3-5 away from level and spending crystals on refills might not get me any, of course with needing exp now I might not make the same decision.

Up to now, I never have. I'm quite patient, so it's not a concern for me to wait a few more weeks or months.

Yep. I started farming FOTP last weekend. I am 2/17 so far...but his shards popped up in shipments four times so I was able to get him to 2*. At this rate, however, it will take years to get him to decent * levels
