PVP Tournament - some updates

Thanks to everyone who has played in the Shores of Scarif Squad Tournament so far. We hope you’re having as much fun playing as we are!

We wanted to let you know that we received reports from some players that the Tournament Roster was refreshing earlier than intended. After investigation we determined that one unplanned refresh did occur for players in timezones in Asia and Europe. For players in North America one unplanned refresh will occur at 3pm PST. We have identified a fix for the issue and after North America gets their unplanned refresh we will be realigning the refresh time to only occur at the intended time displayed in game.

We are also aware that some players are colluding to quickly gain points in the Tournament. This behavior is not something we encourage and we will be taking steps to prevent this in future tournaments.

It turns out that we will not be updating the refresh timer in game. Doing this would create additional risks which could break other parts of the tournament. This will be fixed with a patch as soon as the current tournament is finished.

The refresh for characters will actually happen when the in game refresh timer shows that there are 16 hours left. The exact times are 9am GMT for Asia/Pacific/Australia, 3pm GMT in Europe & Africa, and 10pm GMT in North/South America.

We will continue to monitor player feedback and are planning on making some adjustments for the next tournament.
