Kit leader broken...?

So we've been taking cracks at the heroic AAT raid since it dropped last night and quickly realized tenacity is super important phase 1. So I decided to throw together a rag tag squad of 50% tenacity Toons with kit lead, and almost nothing is getting resisted...to compare I ran a comparable squad with Yoda lead (also +25% tenacity) and had much different results. Anyone else experiencing this?

I tried Ayla lead as well with a jedi crew and didn't see any evidence that her +40% tenacity to the team mattered lol. The only thing that seemed to actually result in resists was the lasting tenacity up buff from yoda and rex for me.

I tried AS and I have to say though I still got debuffed a lot I could feel the heal my toons got, even EP got a heal on resist despite not being a Jedi

The problem really is that tenacity is far too weak compared to potency, my SF has 100% tenacity and is still stunned almost permanently.
