This is really fisking annoying. Although my shard doesn't have any whales (there are some light/medium pay players in there) some days it is alright (yesterday I took #1), but then nights like tonight I was literally dropping rank as soon as I gained it and at crunch time sat there unable to do anything because I was locked out of playing.

This is a really bad system. A system that revolves around sniping at a particular time (that we cannot choose) and can lock us out of play (with no recourse) at that particular time leaves a bad play experience for me and I would assume others.

If you are going to keep a system that encourages sniping at least let us modify our reward payout time to fit better with our lives.

There should be live PVP that instead of ranks u get 5 matches a day and each win gets you 200 arena credits

Had something like that happen. I was number 2. And there where 4 min left. Refreshed right after i came out of combat and wanted to star another so that i did not get sniped. Found out that number 4,3 and 1 was allready in battle and could not do anything... Got sniped

I like your idea but I'm uncertain if they can implement a live system. What would be a happy medium is to have the system they do now, but issue the rewards for winning as you described, but against the computer instead, takes away the problem people are having with cheaters immediately!!!

Yes, being locked out when someone is taking you on is annoying. I have only had it happen a couple times to me but I think about when I am fighting someone close to the prize time and how if they are trying to hold or gain rank that it must be ticking them off.

The way arena is done is quite flawed both in the issue stated and how you can jump up and down rank so much. I give them credit for at least trying though.

U need to drop rank and come 5.54, finish in rank 2-4. Then start attacking rank 1 and finish fight before 6.

Taking rank 1 early will delay u as ur client need to reflect updated rankings. That delay itself will allow snipers to start the match against u.

I am lucky enough to be in a timezone where very few other players are, so i have little competition at reward time(for those that dont know, the awards are 6pm for each players local time). However i do think this is unfair on those who are in more crowded timezones. Having rewards be based on highest rank during the day would be more fair, although would dim competition a bit and undoubtedly make less money for EA.

Also... OP i wonder if you are in my server? Your comments kinda match the description of mine. My IGN is still Ptolemy, i usually snipe 1 and then get booted back to 12 or so

The way things are it's super easy to lock people out of the game. I made topic with a lengthy post about how people do this and strategies to lock down top spots for 15-20 mins and remain profitable on credits. I've used the same strat on the same guy in my bracket all this week and I'm sure he is super frustrated that he has this awesome P2P team and can't even use it at all after 5:40

Different server, my current top 5 are YoYoYoda, BatsaBaji, Theriam, Albert, Sauron.

I think if I were one timezone East I would get #1 daily, now I get semi-frequent lockouts.

There will never be a live PVP area for one of the same reasons there will never be a way for players to trade items. Because it would diminish their ability to scam you out of more money. That, and that ALL encounters in this game are client side.

Really for all you know 95 teams out of the top 100 on your server are not even real people. They could create teams made up of all chromium only characters that have no owner, while you petulantly spend money to knock off ghost players.

This "game" is a casino, but you have no ability to win anything. Which is what keeps games like this from being illegal gambling. You don't win anything. It's like you and I placing a bet, except you are betting cash and I am betting ideas.

Ive been locked out of battles a few times like this. From someone who took #1 from me with 6 minutes left, and I could easily take it back even by auto battling them but Im unable to even try since they attacked me and just are just sitting there.

I get happy when I see him rank 40+ now
