When Is Your Guild Ready for Heroic AAT?

Like the title says how do you know when your guild is ready for a heroic raid/

My guild has beaten a few normals now. We can now beat the normal in 3 sets of characters (2 refreshes) pretty easily. However, with the 0 damage bug and the overall lack of fun and overwhelming time consumption of this raid, participation is far from 100%.

Are we ready? Is there a better way to tell if we are ready?

I think my guild will get to phase 4. We can clear a normal AAT Tank Takedown around 4 days.

I should have just left it the way it was :(

Well, you see, there is a lot of convincing involved in giving it a shot.

Are normal rewards really that good that you can't convince people to give it up for one raid to see if you can get halfway decent rewards?

The people in my guild seem to think we are not ready, so I wanted to get the opinions of other people in the game. Anyone out there gone from normal to heroic successfully?

Why not just try it? In the one or two days that you spend on the heroic, you will earn enough currency to launch a normal raid again anyway. Not much risk involved at this point.

Or we could beat a normal raid in that time and get rewards. I agree that we should just try it, but the rest of the guild doesn't. I am looking for evidence to push them to try it.

it's called risk vs. reward. Time to be pragmatic.

Willis, tell them the rewards are better for everyone and you can get Kenobi faster. Kenobi is enough to convince me tbh.

Raid tickets have very minimal cash value, per guildee, if the average rewards were converted to the cash to purchase crystals. You really aren't wasting much to try it.

I would say your average roster size should be around 40 to 45 with 15 to 20 g10 and g11 people. Your members will especially need Wiggs and Jawas. Full participation with lots of retreating is a must.
Does that sound like something you could handle? Then you can try it :-)

Assuming everyone has 5x (or more) suitably geared and modded teams I think you are ready. To be clear the 5 teams should be G10 or more. Expect everyone to contribute 2% per team in P1, 2, and 4. It will likely take 2+ teams per player in P3.
