Determining opponents strength with ships

I fight a guy with 3 star ships and destroy him, then I fight a guy with mostly 1 star and he one shots me.

I understand that the pilots make a huge difference, but can we please get some clear way to determine the power level of the person you are going up against? I'm getting sick of having to go through each ship one by one.

Also, ships being strictly pvp is the most disappointing thing cg has ever done to this game way to alienate a large portion of your audience on something so potentially money making.

If you're talking about total power, then it says it right under the player's name, just like in normal arena.
Also, I agree about the PVP only aspect. I wish it had Cantina/LS/DS battles too.

I wish they had a way to see others inventories like with characters.

Honestly synergy has far more impact in ships I noticed than regular characters. They really did well with abilities so that you could really craft a team that builds off each other to make it a force.
