So only 25 people per shard will unlock Jyn during the tournament.

If that is the case, ridiculous.

We should ask google to promote Jyn
    Left by design.
The fixed payout times are the worst part of this game and makes it absolutely family-unfriendly.

    EA and their logic :)

Actually a bit more. Cause there are 24 timezones for rewards
So the number of unlocked characters per shard theoretically varies from 25 to 600.
Last figure being almost improbable since it would require 100% change of top 25 every hour. Which we know is not happening.

This is totally wrong. There are three timezones for shards (Asia, Europe, America), not for rewards. Within a shard the reward is at the same time for everybody. So, yes, out of 2000 (?) players in a shard 25 will get Jyn Erso, and only the minority of those at higher than the lowest level.

A lot less actually. Tournament shards are more competitive and filled than your normal arena shard. I'd guess that they're between 5 and 10 time as many people in a tourney shard as an arena shard.

Jyn does look OP, have you seen her 2 CD Truncheon skill? and she's immune to stun. And she's fast. 25 players unlocking her is ridiculous and another waste of everyone's time that doesn't finish top 25. I've played this game embarrassingly religiously since day one and I can't place top 200 in a tournament (F2P player).

Yep - less than 1%. Once again, another garbage tournament. Worst aspect of the game right now. And it's not close.
In game name: Lucas Gregory FORMER PLAYER - - - -"Whale blah grump poooop." - Ouchie

    In game guild: TNR Uprising
I beat the REAL T7 Yoda (not the nerfed one) and did so before mods were there to help

Jyn is, again, another "do-it-all" character. Chirrut is damage, good heal and buffs, assist, counter, all-in-one. Baze is Taunt, uberdebuff, counter, assist, good damage.

Jyn seems more reasonable in term of damage but her Turn-meter tweaking are insanely good, and she also stun while being immune to stun, she can revive rebels with up to 100% of their HP. (and 100% should be reached easily since she gains advantage often)

It seems that no new characters can just fit one or two role and that all new character are meant to be super-polyvalent monster. Well, except K-2SO, he's cool. Usefull, stick to his role of tank, decent without being overpowered. He could be a perfectly fine character, but compared to the new "meta-ready" monster they release, he doesn't look so great.
