Should Darth Vader's TIE Advanced x1 have been the reward for Ship achievements?

Hi everyone,

I know that ships' are in a nascent stage currently but I was pondering whether it would have been better if shards for Vader's TIE were the reward for higher level ship achievements?

It would have given us an achievable goal to work towards and spared EA/CG some grief over the way the tournaments are structured.

Do you agree? I would love to hear your thoughts on this.

I would not be surprised if they ultimately did this since everything in the game is supposed to be farmable at some point but for now, I foresee another tournament attempt in the near future.
