Quick raid rewards question

If a player joins a guild that has a raid in progress and that player joins the raid.... will he be able to receive rewards for his efforts?

Question came up in our guild really just concerning the Tank raid .....

Tried ssseching here for a definite answer and it was hard to find one sorry if this has been asked or covered somewhere ... a link of so would be appreciated

if have been in the guild for 24 hours when the raid finishes you will receive awards
