Emperor's Demise Achievement Reward

For some reason I wasn't able to claim the achievement award for beating the Emperor's Demise event. I tried claiming the reward multiple times but the game wouldn't allow it and then the achievement disappeared. Has this happened to anyone else?

He should probably make out a complaint ticket since I received my rewards upon completion of each tier. It's possible there was a glitch that might just be fixed by closing the game and reopening it again.

I had the same problem. I'm stuck at 15/100 shards and can't access the event because I completed it. I even deleted the game and reinstalled to see if that would help.
