Plans for true PVP feature

Are there any plans to take the current "PVP" platform and make a true, live player vs player feature in any capacity?

It would be SO much fun to play against another live person with true strategy, mistakes and player skills. Especially as a tournament format?

Only time will tell. Plans are rarely shared far in advance

They've talked about it. John Salera and Capgasp talked about it as something they've thought about and talked about when they did a guest spot on someone's podcast recently. It's not on the agenda for the near future. There are lots of ideas they've had for potential things that they've had to put off, because Disney expects them to unload lots of new content for Rogue One right now, and they had big things like the tank raid and ship update before that. It sounded like they had a list of things to do after the dust settles from all that's come at the end of this year, and that wasn't on that list. There were several other things they really want to do that weren't on it either, so I wouldn't expect it anytime soon. But it is something they've thought about and might implement at some point.
