I am gonna have enough shards to level Kylo to 6*, and enough exp to ding 67 tonight. The only problem is credits. Do I level my main arena team to 67 or promote Kylo?

1 star is same boost as 4-5 levels

Is adding a piece of gear that important?

Full gear levels are yes

Look at some, they add a full 10-25 of int,agi,str on a single piece, and the only place to add speed

A level does 4-6 of each

I keep my leader at max level, my arena team within a level or two as I climb to save some creds. I gear like crazy. When I hit 70 in a couple days I'll bring my whole arena team up. I run multiple teams/combos though so I'll bring up my others quickly too.
