When the leader dies

Hi mates,

I truly apologize if my question may appear silly, but I am new and I couldn't find an answer elsewhere.

In an arena battle, what happens to the leader bonus when the leader dies ? Do they finish in that very moment or they remain in place until the end of the battle ? I mean... my Lando provides +13 speed to the other toons, if he dies will the other toons keep the same speed or will they slow down ?

If the bonus "dies" with the leader, it is clear that in most of the cases killing him becomes the tactical priority.

I think there is one character that has one that goes away when the characterd dies - one of the clones - it's called by the books or something.

That's actually Echo's Unique.

Well, I assume all Unique go away when the toon dies, the contrary would be really weird !

Barriss zeta'd unique does not go away after she dies.

The DOT part of Vader's Leader does go away after death, but it states so in the ability description.

Essentially, treat all leaders and team-effecting uniques like they are permanent unless told otherwise in the description.
