Gear idea for the devs - 'Transmutable Salvage'
An idea to help with the gear grind and bottlenecks we see everywhere is to have raid rewards drop salvage parts which can be used in any gear in the game (including gold gear). These parts would act like wild cards that could be substituted in to complete any piece of gear.
Now these would obviously be the best salvage in the game so drop rates would need to be carefully thought out, say 10-30 parts per raid depending on where you place but I think this would go a long way to alleviating some of the grind and frustration that many are feeling.
