Problem between swgoh and Google play services

Is the problem between swgoh and Google play services ever going to be fixed? This has been going on for approximately 6 months. It is very frustrating to have the game crash in the middle of a battle.

yes, im having this problem also, since i first started to play, but with the last update im getting this a LOT more. I can't even do 3 battles that my phone crash.

'if the problem resists contact the developers'...
I hope they happen to fix it unintentionally with the other crash-issue fixes.
