What should be Rex' first move when on AI?

We all know that Squad Discipline is a cleansing move and by that logic the developers say it should not be his first move. However, it is more than a cleansing move. Instead of cleansing negative status effects it can prevent them by granting team members tenacity up. Also team members get turn meter.

The move Subdue is his first move today and deals damage plus extra damage equal to 25% of the targets health

Squad Discipline (change it please)

Sith Assassin uses her cleanse 1st (Dark Shroud) and gives TM boost to Sith allies. I don't buy the argument.
