How many shards are in the $9.99 Hera pack? I could have sworn it said 75 but then I played the first level of the event and now it says 25. Did I misread it the first time?
It's a guaranteed amount for a relatively low price compared to what we normally see. I'm tempted to buy it but between the other toons, that's $10*5 and it adds up quick. It's on for 6 more days so let others gauge how much more effective she may be at 4*
A fixed 40 cents per shard. That's a much better deal than what they have been offering. Still not a good deal though. They are definitely trying to optimize their pricing structure.
Anyone who calls this pack a good deal is brainwashed...
Its relative
Call it what you want...Its a good deal based on the other absurd pricing in this game and thats it. At the end of the day its 25 shards and a bunch of garbage gear and 150k credits for $10. Assuming you could buy as many as you wanted, it would still cost $140 to 7 star her. I just don't understand how thats acceptible...even worse, you cant do that, so all youre paying for is the extra star...
And let me be clear, I am not judging anyone who wants to spend their money on this game. Just my opinion on pricing.

I agree. For people who spend money on this game, its a good deal. And personally, no pack that requires money is a good deal, but thats just me.
Anyone else notice they changed the wording in the squadron pack? Chance to crit for 30, otherwise 5. So if I put a bunch of crit rating mods on Hera, I should almost always get 30 shards, right? Lol
They finaly release non-gamble pack. That's a good start, I think.
Do not considering buy it though.
To OP, it was always 25.
The real-world money packs have always been guaranteed. It's the crystal packs that are gamble packs. If you look at the crystal one for Hera, it's still a gamble (but they made the 5 OR 30 wording more clear this time).

For $10, we probably should have gotten all the way to 5*.
But, not complaining, just probably not going to buy it

No. And it's about a 1400 crystal equivalent.

The 25 shards alone (right now) are worth more then that.
Still better than the citadel pack
Everything is better than the citadel pack. Except maybe the tie attack...
