A guild mate brought something up that I think makes a ton of sense.
Tenacity up as it currently is in the game, should be changed to debuff immunity. It completely takes away any chance of landing a debuff. While the term tenacity up, should be a % based tenacity increase. Much like speed up, crit chance up, offense up etc...
Just something to think about it guess. I know right now it's a play on words. But I think if it's changed, it could lead to both debuff immunity and a true tenacity up ability that's based on % increase like many of the others listed above.

Tenacity down increases your odds of getting debuffed a bit.
Tenacity up makes you 100% immune to all debuffs every time.
Not 100% but darn close, Vader can still inflict ability block from his basic onto Jedi.
That is because it is unresistable.
Tenacity up will resist all effects that are not unresistable.
Some Unresistable effects:
Tenacity down
Vader lead tmr
Asajj lead tmr
Vader ability block vs jedi
Krennic lead ability block
It may be useless, but the way it's worded at least, it makes more sense to have it that way. They should at least change the wording of it to reflect what it really is imo.
- Current version - reduces chance to resist, i.e. 15% chance to resist
- new -
- Current version plus 50% chance to bypass resist when resisted
- or can't resist but like expose is used when effect sticks
- or something that matches tenacity up, and doesn't always use that 15% chance to resist.
I'm confused. They ARE opposites. Tenacity down eliminates a characters tenacity. They cancel each other out if someone has both. Are you just suggesting they remove the 15% min chance of resisting?
Currently they do cacel each other out but are not polar opposite.
Up you resist everything that is not unresistable
Down just minimizes resistance (15%)
Tenacity down takes your tenacity to -1 million. That isn't a bit.
Look at the mechanics.
