Disney's plans for the old republic era have been, to date, easily described as shrouded in secrecy. And you could also say the original stories have been redacted from canon. So, what if the redacted event is redacted right now, but won't be soon? Say, after E3, with a KotOR remake announcement and canonization?

Now you see, dak was important not because he participated in the battle of hoth, not because he was Luke's gunner, he was important because he has a lego mini figure, an action figure, and a family guy appearance. This is undeniable proof that Dak Ralter is the fan favorite.

For a split second when I read it in the updates I thought it meant Grand Master Luke, then I remembered that's the Yoda event, it's June & Grand Master Luke isn't until after ROTJ (obviously) and don't know if he still holds that title in the new trilogy (doubtful, Yoda didn't have the Grand Master title anymore in ESB)
In all seriousness, this is an EA game, and there's a massive game conference (e3) June 13-15. This almost certainly has something to do with an EA Star Wars project, whether it be secret, or well known.
