I do, just for the gear. I have a I in 3 chance of getting something I can use
This, plus omega chance. Sometimes I get nothing, but today I got an omega on one attempt and 2 purple challenge gear I need. Not bad for 2 minutes of game time.

As true as it is, and I pulled 0, I doubt many players who can do them, actually need training droids anymore.
It literally takes seconds. There is no droid crunch anymore BUT the devs only need to tweak a few things to make it an issue again. Auto it and future proof yourself. And you can't know if they might be used for something else. And yeah, a spare Omega on a blue moon is nice too.

Now there is a credit crunch. Wish they'd boost the amount of credit heists and credits earned elsewhere. TW and TB have made all characters matter.

Auto-ed the event for a chance at an omega. droid smuggling is becoming pointless. Training droids don't work on me, only credits.

Better yet, time smuggling, on account they're always making the game more demanding for less.
I do get useful gear maybe 1 out of every 3 or 4 times or so. 2 pieces isn't great but better than zero pieces.
