How does this even work? We are a 25m guild and am matched up against a 40m guild?!?!?

Do you get matched based on the total guild power OR matched to a guild with similar GP of the players who registered?

I can see that we have 22m active GP, is there a way to tell what the opposing teams active GP is?

    It's based on the players that registered, but no, you can't see the other guild's active GP. If the number of teams to assign per territory is less than half of the number of registered players you have, then the other guild has fewer participants than you, but that's about all you can tell.

    okay so we have 32 people who joined and can set 14 per territory. So if the opposing team has less than 14 teams to assign we have higher participants?

    No, they will have 14 teams to assign also, but that means they have either 27 or 28 participants (twice 14). If they had as many or more participants as you, you would be setting 16 teams per territory.
