Mods purchase advice

Hi,
I need some advice here, I have mods with speed available sometimes in the store, which tiers to buy and which skip?

For example I have now health mode MK2 E with speed for 252 crystals... Worth it? How much speed it will add on level 15? +17or more?

And secondly, is speed that crucial? I mean if set of potency and speed is ideal for palp, will it be better to favour a +30 speed health mode to build speed-health mode set?

I never buy mods for crystals. And it depends, if it's gold and has a speed secondary showong, ir has 4 chances to level, purple 3, blue 2, green 1, it's not guaranteed though.

Never buy mods with crystals. And I would never buy a mod that was less than 5 dots.

In a related question, I have very few decent mods with speed secondaries, but just dropped one which went to 14 speed.

Trouble is it's only a 4 dot mod, worth keeping or not?

Do not sell or trash mods until you hit the limit(either 300 or 500, I forget).

The only exception is if you spot a mod you want to buy, but you’re short a few credits then sell a few 1* mods to get them.

Don’t sell anything with speed, or really any right side mods for a long time.

Absolutely don’t sell a mod with +14 speed, it doesn’t matter what shape, primary or set; you will use that mod on someone for as long as you play this game.

out of curiosity, why not clean up your mods every now and then? I clean them every 50-100 mods, I am always short on creds

Because that mod that looks like junk now, may be the only Potency Circle you have to complete a set in 2 weeks when you are putting mods on a new squad of characters for an event/TW/TB.

The amount of credits you get for selling mods is rather trivial, and unless you are JUST short of something won’t really make a difference.

Plus it’s much easier to spot where you have tons of duplicates, rather then only a couple of certain types of mods when you are able to sift through hundreds.

Hey dude I made the mistake of buying speed mods with crystals a few weeks ago, I then learned critical damage and potency are better for most characters so if you're going to buy some make sure you buy critical damage, don't make same mistake I did lol.

I got critical chance with speed primary on 5 dots today... wow.. probably run out of luck for rest of the year

From what I’ve heard, arrows are the most common mod shape. So finding an arrow with speed primary isn’t terribly rare. And that’s good since you need a ton of them - basically one for every character you want to use regularly.

I second this. I've tossed away so many squares and circles and diamonds, but am sorely lacking arrows, let alone speed arrows.
