It would be difficult for anyone to "hold it" with the weight of the galaxy on their shoulders. I'd say he did pretty well, given his situation.

Porkins should become an OP tank in a Wedge-Biggs-CLS team.

Gain 200% defense and auto-taunt for 2 turns every time Biggs calls an assist. Ability should be called "Hold it"

Porkins is literally just a fat joke whose one act in the movie is to die. Jar Jar is an infinitely more substantial and relevant agent in the narrative than Porkins.
