Arena Shard Ranking?

I wanted to know if all players in a shard receive their arena prizes at a unified time. It looks like people in my shard are from different countries, and I am US based. We are obviously in different time zones, but does that change the prize payout time for them compared to me?

    Everybody gets paid out in their local 6PM time so there can be multiple rank 1 payouts throughout a single day in just your Arena Leaderboard alone.

    Ah I see. So when I snipe someone it doesn't necessarily mean I took away their chance for rank #1 rewards for the day.

    It's not a snipe if he's not even same payout time as you. Climbing before or after your own payout hour on the other hand could snipe someone on his payout hour.

    For eg, you have spare arena attempts before your reset and you burn it at 11.05 pm gives people chance to climb back. Burning it at 11.50pm could snipe someone and earn you enmity.
