TW matchups are still obscene. My guild, 130m, had a 160m match. We would have won if we'd had 6 more minutes to finish fleets: it was almost a full sweep for us, they beat all of ours. The average GP was way off, more than 300. The Traya count they had was higher by 10-15, JKR was double ours, more DRs, etc. This is not fun. We had not lost any of the 7 wars leading into this, and it **** us all off supremely to lose because our opponent had us totally outclassed with regards to roster. We don't expect to win every war, but when we lose, we expect it to be due to our opponents' superior teamwork and skill, not simply because 10 of their members sat out to skew the matchmaking.

Total guild GP is irrelevant for your matchmaking.
Ok, so your guild had full participation and 130 million active GP. Now, what was your opponents' active GP? Repeating that they had 160 million total guild GP is no use at all, since matchmaking is based on active GP - which makes sense. Total guild GP is completely irrelevant. Repeating their total GP is ignorant.
If your guild only has few JKRs, then acquire more. The event reappears later this month.
If your guild has few Darth Revans only, make sure to acquire more next time the event appears. Until then you could use some of the available counters.
If your guild doesn't mod their teams well, then.....well, you can hardly blame anybody else but yourselves for that. Be prepared.
You complained about lack of JKRs. At 2.7 million average GP you really should have plenty in your guild since the second appearence of the event. If you don't then blame it on your guild members' farming choices and not on the match-making algorithm.
I can assure you, that having +140 speed on all your TW teams is very rare. I don't have that kind of speed on a single character. Modding your team well goes a long way, however. Ask your guild members to focus on key characters like JKR, Thrawn, Starck, BB8 etc. when dustributing their high speed mods. If you don't already, you can hardly blame match-making for that.
