Last time the matchups in character GP were all very similar but this time I’ve got 200k difference lower and higher. I’ve heard others with 700k difference.
The matchmaking formula isn't based upon GP any longer. It's supposed to be more based off the usable characters in GA, lowering the impact of lesser geared characters. So just looking at GP is pretty irrelevant now in terms of matchmaking.

ironically for me this time the matches seem "better" off. though im higher in gear 12 and zetas compared to the rest, but im lower in everything else..
on another hand most still have either a D revan or traya while i dont
last week it was bad for me going against a person with much better gear and stats, plus a person who had plus 20 on every stat compared to everyone else (stats being zetas, mods, gear tiers, ect)

Im last in my division. My next closest os 500k more gp and has 50 more g12 and over 100 more 6 star mods. And he isnt even close to the top of the division who has everything maxed.

you have 2 full G12 teams on him....... in this case I would say who cares that he has 600k GP on you.... you still have a 2 team advantage...that's a lot....unless your G12 are phoenix and his is Darth Malak and JKR

I will say though, for character GP, we are within 100K of 2.4 mil except one guy who has 2.7 mil GP, but he's got a very fluffy roster (even a couple of his jawas are G12).
So, tough call, look at character-only GP and see how that looks for you.

yeah he is 600k down but he has TWO more full G12 teams he can field.... he is -600k but should easy crush the guy unless it's trash G12 vs malak and JKR

My extremely broad roster appears to have broken the algorithm. I'm in Division 1 and I'm paired with 7 Division 2 players. There's one other (very weak) Darth Revan, and some of the players don't even have Traya unlocked.
I appreciate that I'm not facing an uphill battle for once, but this does seem to have swung a bit too far in the opposite direction. Hopefully they can dial it somewhere in the middle. My first round opponent has 65 less 10+ speed mods. Yikes.
So I’m about in the middle of the 8... the only thing that’s kinda close is that we’ve got the same amount of zetas. Other than that... he’s about the bottom of the 8 and the dude that’s the top of the 8 is at 5.49m who will probably make me look like this guy vs me

No, not at all. Yours seems horrendous.
Others have complained solely about GP differences, and some have posted bot comparisons that look fair.

Yeah I'm division 4 and all my opponents are division 3 averaging ~500k GP more. Close matchmaking aside, aren't we at least supposed to start in the same division? I have to battle d3 opponents, but will only get d4 prizes.

Repeating the same thing without providing the requested proof just makes it look like you are making it up. Can you show us the screen shot of your matchup? Some of us would like to see what is going on and get a better idea of things.
