I'm a couple pieces of gear away from g12 (and thus 17.5k, there's no way I'm spending a zeta) for Canderous. Exactly when I finish will be a combination of raid-gear drops and store availability (just need Carbantis for the Mk6 stun gun, but I need a bunch of Mk4 holo salvage for the finished Mk4). Darth Revan is only g11, but with zetas is way over the gp threshold, so with good luck on today's raids I could be done with Canderous and completely ready by tonight... or maybe not for another 3-4 days.
So I'm content to wait another week. It means I don't have to rush buy gear the expensive way (crystals). After that, though, I'll definitely be hoping for sooner rather than later. The 13th sounds soon enough, though. I'm not stressed.

Sighs.....there’s always zero precedence the first time, then after the first time they have a basic cycle like they’ve done with every other toon. You honestly didn’t expect malak within the first couple weeks after drevan??

The Darth Revan event was delayed two weeks from its originally announced date. This is why the second Devan event was not "early." It's also why the Darth Malak is not "late" yet.
Right on time would be to run the Malak event concurrent with the upcoming Kevan event, across the weekend of the 11th.
To be fair, calling it late or early would depend on what you compare it to. If you compare to JKR, which would be logical, even if it was 2 weeks late, it's early compared to Jedi Revan's first return. JKR came back in 105 days, DR came back in 80, and if you add the two weeks, still 94 which is early.
Would love it if Malak came back but as someone else mentioned, there's no precedence for this type of event. It was announced suddenly and lasted one weekend. "Right on time" makes no sense because there is nothing to compare it to as it was a bid for CG to make money since they probably didn't make as much on DR as they hoped.
It looks like JKR is returning 7/11 which is when I thought malak would return. So who knows when he is coming back now. It is a little annoying that they have gone back to JKR for a second time without Malak returning once.

No I did not whale at all, and as for waiting, if it is a week away fine, but if they are skipping this time around then yes, I will not spend money again I'll just slow play it from now on. Spending a $20 here and there on some crystals is hardly whaling. I said others would quit, I would probably not. Not yet anyway.

Not always, jkr was over 100 one time and like 80 the next, it is usually around there I guess on average. The thing I was going by was the time after darth revan he was the first time. You just never know with CG what they are going to do.

They, could have easily got DR but not Malak and could and did come up a little short.
So good on you for riding top ranks for the time you needed and for not needing to be a 2nd time around JKR or having the stash.
